I am by no means a crazy skilled climber but I do appreciate what climbing has brought into my life. My mind has undergone a huuuuge mental overhaul + one of the most profound lessons I've learned is that failures are not indicators of the future + much less, your skill.

Nowadays I don't get so discouraged if I get pumpy on a warm-up or if I can't snag that weird core-happy problem...because it's all about that journey. As long as I can get back up + keep trying, I know I'm doin' life well.
